I must admit that before I took this class, I thought it was kind of useless. I've known that I've wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old and my mom started her own preschool in our home. I kind of just thought this class was a waste of time and tuition, but now I understand and am grateful that this class was a requirement for my degree. I can confidently say that I still want to be a teacher but this class has helped me learn a lot fo the ins and outs of this profession. It's definitely not easy but it's rewarding. I think my favorite activity or assignment that we had to do with this class was serving 20 hours in a classroom. At first, it was hard finding the time between school and work to add these 20 hours but it was so worth the struggle in the end. My next steps are to continue in my major in Special Education. I know that throughout my next two years and some I will think back to the material learned in this class and use it to best help myself. Tha...
